Rachel Thomas, LMFT

An AAMFT Approved Supervisor since 2005, Rachel has guided many therapists through their licensure journey. She provides ongoing clinical supervision and consultation to the team at Therapy With Heart and to EFT clinicians worldwide who seek additional training and support. Her leadership in the Arizona Emotionally Focused Therapy (AzEFT) and Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) communities is significant, most recently having served as President of AzEFT for four years before transitioning into her current role as the Arizona EFT Trainer.

In addition to her clinical and supervisory roles, Rachel actively supports causes close to her heart, including grief and infertility. She has been involved with New Song Center for Grieving Children at Hospice of the Valley and RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association. Grief and infertility remain key areas of focus in her practice.

Rachel is dedicated to creating safe and inclusive spaces where clients and therapists alike feel accepted, heard, and supported. This foundation fosters healing and honest exploration. She also brings her expertise to the training arena, delivering recent workshops on topics like EFT and Affairs, EFT Across Systems, Attachment-Based Suicide Prevention, and EFT Supervision Reboot. As a facilitator of EFT Externships and Core Skills training, she continues to inspire and mentor therapists within Therapy With Heart and across the Arizona EFT community.
